Five years ago, I received an invitation to a wedding. I kept on thinking about a reasonable purchase but nothing came to my mind. It was a wedding in our relatives so it was crucial to gift an expensive and elegant item. However, my pocket was also bothering me for some high-priced items even when they were too elegant and classy. I wanted something that is reasonable, looks nice, and benefit the bride.

My husband, therefore, suggested to search various online websites as well as shopping centers to choose something from a wide variety of jewelry. My husband knew that Jewelry is my weakness so I can make a better choice. Since childhood, I have been collecting a range of jewelry items from traditional and gold plated to the real gold. For this reason, I can also make a distinction between a diverse range of jewelry items in accordance with their price. Therefore, my search landed me to the pages of elegant jewelry items. I saw a wide variety of rings, bracelets, bengals, earrings, and necklaces-from the cheapest to the expensive, I loved them all somehow.

It was too hard to make a choice and differentiate their quality due to number of online stores and shopping malls in my area. I also asked my husband to help me and he kept on looking for few hours as well and finally suggested me a pair of cubic zirconia gold plated earrings. But I saw the similar pair for $110 and my husband showed me in $15??????????????????????was it possible? I just went to shopping mall and found few other cubic zirconia gold plated items. I found them the same from $15 to $100. I bought five such pairs of $15 and one pair of $110.

My struggle introduced me to some notable and significant findings which I thought to share with you.

All were 10k gold plated.

All were Cubic Zirconia

All were equally shining and

didn't hurt the ears(my ears are highly sensitive and I wore one pair of $15 for 15 hours and nothing happened to my ears)

The only differences that I found were the following:

The name of the brand makes it costly. Few online items from new and unknown local sellers were cheaper than the stores with brand names. I say this as after five years, the one with $110 appears to be the same as one with $15. Literally no difference at all.

The sophisticated shape makes it costly. The same quality is high priced only on the basis of customised shapes of brands. No rocket science involved but price jumps form $15 to $150.

However, I forgot to mention you guys that we didn't gift jewelry to that bride but we gave money as it was written on the card that “NO boxes”. It really ended our struggle.

Wish you good luck with your purchases.

Stay blessed and calm!
