Are we Muslims if we belong to Islam ?

You must have taken my topic with reference to the mixed thoughts coming to your mind that what I actually want to say???? Here is my narrative.

I belong to the country where people are Muslims in majority and give so many lectures whole heartedly on Islam and humanity. But you know they practically lack everything which can make them Muslim or include them in the category of Muslims even.

Allah almighty 🙏 time and again in the Quran e Kareem and his last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad many a times advised people and reinforced the concepts of humanity, speaking truth, honesty, staying away from evil, justice, standing against oppression, following and seeking righteous path that only benefits others, and helping others in every possible way. But people in my country don’t do such things which I saw in US AS AN IMMIGRANT.

In US, there are equal rights for all regardless of race, gender, class, and social status. In my country there is nothing such thing which I even call the LAW.

THERE IS LAW but different for everyone. Even the ARMY has got his favoritism for army officials and families, so what you expect from others????

In the sacred profession of teaching even, there are monsters occupying the sacred seats and taking decisions for students’ life which force them to commit suicide. There are some other narcissists who openly praise themselves and Criticize others brutally.

There are many who will consider me now thankless and ungrateful for saying so. But I am saying due to immense grief that I have been feeling everyday via listening to the news from my country. Till when we keep on blaming others for our own weaknesses and try to ignore our drawbacks??? We should now at least think about making ourselves a better Muslim instead of giving lectures on Islam. ISLAM was spread via practicing morals and ethics and not via words only. Let’s become good Muslims first and then try to be known as Muslims.
